Day 13 - Floor Framing and HVAC

Our contractor came over today to work on Labor Day. It was not something that we would expect of him, but we are glad that he is into the job enough to put in the effort. We are very pleased with the quality, thus far, as well as being approachable during the process.

Today, he put in some more of the sub-flooring including underneath the doorway.

The HVAC work included moving a vent opening from an incorrect location. It was laid out to come through the toe-kick of a standard depth cabinet (24") but ours along the wall are 12". What you see below is the new location.

The other HVAC was the run into the study that runs underneath the laundry room.

The framing in the laundry room was also installed and the insulation put in. The final flooring in the short hallway to the study was ripped up. Not much is left to complete.
